Rooms at The Greyhound Hotel come en-suite, with drinks available in room and family rooms on offer for those travelling together. There are 10 rooms in total, each a straightforward base for exploring Penrith and the surrounding area, with free on-site parking taking the hassle out of arriving by car.

Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar, breakfast each morning, and packed lunches available for guests heading out for the day. Free WiFi runs throughout, a kitchen and meeting rooms are on hand, and staff are on duty at the 24 hour reception whatever time you check in. Luggage storage is available, and there's outdoor seating for sitting out when the weather allows. Pets are welcome, so dogs can travel too.

Penrith itself has a pub, bar and restaurant scene close by, and the wider area is set up for cycling, walking, fishing, watersports and golf, with a golf course nearby for those keen to play a round. It's also a convenient point from which to reach the Lake District National Park and its attractions.
