About River Valley Country Park
Tucked into 23 acres of green countryside along the River Hayle, this peaceful lodge park near Relubbus offers an enviable mid-Cornwall location – the north coast and south coast are both within easy reach, and it's only half an hour's drive to Land's End. Marazion sits 10 minutes away, Hayle about 15, so you're never far from Cornwall's stunning seaside scenery, yet the riverside setting here feels properly rural and relaxed.
The 23 self-contained lodges come with their own bathrooms, kitchens, heating, TV and outdoor furniture; some have hot tubs. There's no on-site entertainment or leisure complex – this is a chilled-out, wildlife-rich spot with a launderette, dog-walking area and electric car charging. Nearby Hayle and Penzance (both 10–15 minutes) cover supermarket runs, while the surrounding area offers fishing, golf, watersports and surf schools for those seeking activity beyond the tranquil banks of the Hayle.

Caravans and lodges are wonderful, set near a beautiful little river. Close to penzance and several beaches. We are regulars here. Laundrette is reasonably priced and there is a little book nook. Only 2 things I would change/add... a shop on site for basics (milk/bread etc.) and maybe a park for the kids.

Fantastic as always I used to go to River Valley with my parents in the 80s and early 90s when previous owners had it and back then it was more for camping and towing caravans. It was a beautiful site then Fast forward 20 years I returned and new owners had taken over and static caravans appeared. Really enjoyed my times i stayed as the park had been so well maintained like the previous owners had it. Fast forward to our stay last week. We stayed in a log cabin. It was set away from the other lodges and static caravans. It had trees which kept the temperature reasonable inside it especially as the temperature outside was over 26c. The interior was fantastic, lots of room compared to the static caravan we stayed in there 5 years ago. The cabin was spotlessly clean and we had no issues The kitchen was a good size with a big hob. The bathroom had a bath and a shower. The en suite bathroom had a shower too with a decent amount of room to move about in. The location of River Valley is a big factor. You have easy access to both the north and south coasts. Marazion is the closest beach area which has st Michael's mount. About 6 miles away is st ives on the north cost. Plus Sennen Cove on the north coast isn't too far a drive On the south coast not far away are beaches like Kennegy Cove, praa sands, the always impressive Porthcurno and a little bit further there is kynance Cove, the lizard and then Falmouth. You have so many options unlike if you base yourself in Newquay for example. All in all a fantastic stay, we will be back. Oh and the rabbits are so cute

The accommodation we had was very poorly maintained and had a lot of issues. Would not stay in same accommodation again but the site was lovely and quiet. Didnt see anybody the whole time we were there.
