Ashknowe Log Cabin

Central Scotland has plenty within reach of Ashknowe. Perth itself offers city amenities and leisure facilities. Scone Palace is 10 miles away, Falkland Palace 7 miles, and Edinburgh Castle roughly 25 miles—Stirling and St Andrews beaches are similarly close. From the cabin door, walking routes head out across farmland toward viewpoints over the Ochil Hills and Lomond Hills of Fife. The surrounding meadows are managed for wildlife. Glenfarg village is less than a mile away with a shop and local produce farm shops within 15 minutes' drive. Pubs and restaurants are about 3½ miles off. Those interested in active pursuits will find golf, cycling, gliding, riding and fishing all within driving distance.

The cabin is a single-storey log building with one bedroom, one bathroom and accommodation for two. The ground floor holds an open-plan living space with a 40-inch TV and DVD player, dining area, and kitchen equipped for self-catering. The bedroom has a four-poster king bed. A private hot tub and sauna sit outside on the sun deck; the decked area also has garden furniture and space for a barbecue. Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are provided. On-site parking is available. The cabin is not suitable for children or smoking guests.
