The Hermitage Walk and Loch of the Lowes Nature Reserve are on the doorstep, making this a natural base for exploring Perthshire's forests and waterside paths. Dunkeld town centre, with its pubs and restaurants, is a short walk away. The cottage itself is a detached stone property sleeping four: two bedrooms (one double with ensuite on the ground floor, one twin upstairs) and a bathroom with bath and shower. A woodburner in the living room provides warmth, and the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking. Essentials including electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are provided; fuel for the stove is included.
Outside there is a back garden with a firepit and barbecue, plus parking for two cars and a bike store. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The property is no-smoking. First-floor headroom is limited. Arrival is after 4pm and departure before 10am.

Great cottage in a fantastic setting. Very nice host. We had a wonderful 14 days there and can wholeheartedly recommend this holiday accommodation.

I stayed for several weeks in Craigmore cottage in the Autumn. The property was perfect, cosy bed, fabulous shower, living room with a wood burner making it the perfect retreat in the evenings. The kitchen was well equipped and I used the upstairs for guests to comfortably stay. I love the location of Craigmore Cottage, myself and my dog marched miles around the many paths on the doorstep. Autumn in Perthshire is magical and the cottage places you in the perfect spot to be part of the changes and to enjoy both the hills and the village in any season.
