Families and small groups will find Rannoch Lodge works well for a week away without the fuss of stairs. The entire ground floor is yours, arranged open-plan so the main living area flows into the kitchen and dining space—the wood burner sits at the heart of things, with a smart TV and DVD player for quieter moments. One bedroom has a double bed with ensuite shower; the other has two single beds and shares the second shower room. Everything is fresh after a 2023 renovation, with modern heating and kitchen equipment that actually lets you cook properly rather than make do.
Aberfeldy sits on the River Tay with genuine hill walks nearby, and Loch Tay is close enough for a day out. The Dewar's distillery is in town if that appeals, along with a cinema, farmers' market, restaurants and cafés. There's a pub within a mile. On site you have parking for two cars, a garden with a sitting area and barbecue, and Wi-Fi that works. Pets stay free. Non-smokers only. Check in is after 4pm, and you'll need to leave by 10am on departure day.
