Riverside Lodge

Riverside Lodge stands on an estate of 100 acres of woodland in Perth and Kinross, near the village of Auchterarder. The lodge is a single-storey property with everything on ground level, sleeping six across three bedrooms: a king in the master with ensuite, a double, and two singles. There is a second shower room for shared use. The open-plan living space flows into a dining kitchen, with patio doors opening onto decking where you can sit year-round, helped along by the electric fire inside when the weather turns.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, and all the usual appliances—while Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are all included. You have private parking for two cars on site. One dog is welcome to stay free and can explore the woodland and river directly from the grounds, though note there are sloping banks and an unfenced stream in the property itself. A pub is within walking distance, and the Auchterarder high street, with its independent shops, galleries and restaurants, lies 1.5 miles away. The surrounding area offers cycling and hill walking in the Ochil Hills, fishing on the river, and golf at both local courses and the championship Gleneagles. No smoking inside.
