Muthill sits at the heart of Strathearn, surrounded by countryside yet close enough to Crieff for a day trip. Rowanlea is a renovated cottage in the village centre, sleeping six across three bedrooms and two bathrooms. A pub lies within a mile's walk, and you'll find a restaurant, café, ice cream shop and a 9-hole golf course all nearby. The medieval church is worth a wander down the ancient lanes, and there's a children's play area in the village too.
The ground floor opens into a living room with a wood burner, then a kitchen and dining space with patio doors to the garden. A separate sun room with another wood burner gives quiet space to retreat to on cooler afternoons, with windows on three sides overlooking the grounds. Upstairs are three bedrooms—one with a zip-and-link super king (or two singles), one with a standard king, and one with zip-and-link singles—along with a full bathroom and a separate shower room. The large garden includes a seating area and barbecue. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are provided; one basket of logs comes with each wood burner. One dog is welcome and stays free. The property is non-smoking.
Practical details: a washing machine and tumble dryer sit in the utility room, there's bike storage, and on-road parking outside. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available if needed.
