About Hawthorn Glamping
Tucked at the edge of the North York Moors National Park, this award-winning glamping spot delivers a thoughtfully planned outdoor break without any of the usual faff. Your pre-pitched accommodation comes with a charcoal barbecue and picnic bench complete with parasol, so you only need to bring bedding, clothes and cooking utensils. Skip the washing-up and head to the on-site café for homebaked croissants and breakfast treats, or stock up at the well-stocked licensed shop.
The park has been evolving since 1985, starting with just five caravans in a corner field, and the owners' decades of experience show in the spotless communal facilities and manicured grounds. The play area and football pitch keep younger guests entertained, while the owners themselves are a brilliant resource for local knowledge, always happy to help plan your Yorkshire adventures. It's a peaceful, remote setting with spectacular scenery all around—though note that dogs aren't permitted.

We came for the weekend as my parents were there in their tourer. Stayed in the new pod and it was absolutely fabulous. So tastefully decorated, felt really luxurious and so cosy. We were a family of 4 and it really is like a tardis. Absolutely everything you need, and things you didn’t realise you did. We had the hot chocolate package too which was far more extensive and indulgent than we expected - such a treat. We’ll definitely be back.

Family of 2 adults and 10 and 3 year old. What a fabulous experience! We’ve never been glamping or camping before so this was all new to us but wow. Such friendly staff and people on the site. Really clean and so close to places like Dalby Forest, Pickering market town, Malton, Scarborough. So many places to visit. Looking to book as soon as possible again! Really sad to leave the place

Absolutely loved our weekend stay for my friend's hen do. It was their first time hosting a hen do and they've done a great job making it special for the 6 of us! Will definitely go back again.
