About Park Foot Holiday Park

Set right on the shores of Ullswater near Pooley Bridge, Park Foot Holiday Park is a well-run site that gets the basics spot-on. Pitches are generously spaced, and the modern shower blocks – spotlessly clean with underfloor heating – earn plenty of praise. Direct lake access is a real draw for wild swimmers and watersports fans, while the short stroll into Pooley Bridge makes evenings out easy.

The on-site shop is well-stocked for essentials, and the restaurant and takeaway serve good food at fair prices. Staff are friendly and helpful throughout. It's a reliably comfortable base for exploring the northern Lakes, though don't expect cutting-edge glamour – this is a traditional, family-friendly park that does the essentials very well.

Our stay at Park Foot Holiday Park !! I had a wonderful time staying here in a tent. The campsite is fantastic, and the facilities are top-notch—the toilets, showers, and dishwashing area were always spotlessly clean and easily accessible. The location is beautiful, with Lake Ullswater just a short, 10-minute walk away from the campsite. There is also a great bar on-site where you can have a delicious meal and a nice beer. If you are travelling with children, the playgrounds for the youngest ones are excellent. The whole place is incredibly picturesque. The local rabbits running around and the horses—which you can actually ride—add so much charm to the atmosphere. Honestly, this place has absolutely no downsides. I highly recommend it to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Recently back from our 3 night stay here. Great location, good sized pitches overlooking the lake. The new toilet block (on lake view field) is really modern and well thought out. The old one is awful and feels like it's just been left and wasn't particularly clean on our 3 nights there. A suggestion would be to maybe check the cleanliness of the toilets more often as due to the number of people using them they do get very dirty very quickly! TJs bar was fine and had a really good selection of beers and spirits and prices weren't bad either. Staff for most part were friendly. The main grounds are well kept and pretty big. Location is the draw here as it's very close to Pooley Bridge and the walk is definitely one to do. Worth a visit for sure.

Park foot is our favourite campsite, each year it just keeps on getting better and better. The only downside is that on bank holiday weekends there is a minimum booking of 3 nights, which unfortunately does make it difficult for us to come each time with work/kids etc. the facilities are amazing and the playgrounds/parks etc are great. The shop is well equipped, although I have noticed it has changed a lot to how it used to be so I don’t know if they still have everything that may have been forgotten by mistake! Whereas previously that was a given, it was a shop with EVERYTHING! Love the place though, it’s in a great location and our favourite family campsite. Lovely take away on site, the bar is good and sells nice food, laundrette on site and all you need for a great camp trip.

We are just back from Park Foot Caravan Park. It was our first visit and definitely won’t be our last. The site is immaculate and bathrooms are so clean. We stayed on Lakeside and had a super pitch and it was super indeed. So big. Loved our own little picnic bench. Pooley Bridge itself is such a quaint village and loved that most of the bars/restaurants were all dog friendly. The walk from site to village was great and just 10 mins.
