About Prospect House
Portrush is a coastal town on the County Antrim coast known for its rows of Victorian townhouses, and Prospect House occupies one of them on Lansdowne Crescent. The building keeps its period character while offering straightforward, comfortable accommodation across 11 rooms, making it a practical base for exploring the area.
Rooms are simple and unfussy rather than dressed up, with a cooked breakfast included to start the day properly. Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar for evening meals and drinks, while a garden and terrace give guests somewhere to sit outside. A spa and sauna are on site, and free WiFi and laundry service cover the practical side of a stay.
Ulster University's Coleraine Campus is nearby, useful for anyone visiting on university business or open days. Free on-site parking is provided, which makes arriving by car straightforward. Portrush itself is close by, putting the town's shops, beaches and harbour within easy reach.

What guests say
A wonderful bed and breakfast overlooking the beautiful North Coastline. Enjoy a warm welcome in a homely setting. The perfect place to stay when visiting Portrush and the Causeway Coast.

We had a two night stay, cleanliness was not to bad, however, our room was very very small, had absolutely no room for our luggage, kettle had to be boiled on the floor as there wasn’t a socket near the tea tray, also no bottled water. Bathroom generally clean, but there was a massive crack in the sink, the shower water pressure wasn’t great, the foot tray didn’t drain away and there was no slip mat in or outside the shower and getting out was very slippery. The decor is very out dated, however breakfast was lovely as is the location and view, for us it just lacked a few little touches for the price they charge.

Really nice guest house. Friendly staff and breakfast was included too, which was great. Room was straight forward and ample for one night. Views out across the water and walks along the coast too. Car park close by at the end of the headland was free at the time of visit, didn't feel negative and was quite empty for August.
