My Fiance and I stayed at Ashby’s accommodation and spa last night as a last minute trip down to our uni town for a little trip down memory lane! This place was so beautifully decorated and arranged. Our room was so spacious and had everything you need. They even had a games room for guests, they had pool, air hockey, Pac-Man machine etc! I also love the fact they had a 10:30pm quiet time to respect the guests. So close to Southsea seafront and only 20 minute walk into Portsmouth town. Such an amazing price! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone that wants to travel to Portsmouth/Southsea. Thank you to the owners!

Really friendly and helpful staff. the accommodation was very clean and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The communal area downstairs was great with loads of facilities including a pool table and a table tennis table. Overall is a great weekend stay right in the centre of Southsea (far enough from the bars and restaurants to be quiet but only a 100 metre walk). Thanks Steve and Mubi for a great stay.

I don't think l've ever stayed at such a cool, well-thought out property before. Ashbys Accommodation & Spa was amazing from start to finish. Mubi and Steve have clearly put so much care and attention into every detail, from the decoration and atmosphere to the little touches that make the whole place feel luxurious, cosy, and unique at the same time. Everything felt intentional and beautifully designed, and you can tell they really care about creating a memorable experience for their guests. The property was spotless, relaxing, and had such a calming vibe. It honestly felt more like staying in a private boutique retreat.I don't think l've ever stayed at such a cool, well-thought out property before. We’ve stayed at Ashby’s 4 times I’ve the past few years. Situated right in the heart of Southsea, a stone’s throw from the main drag, and also the sea front. The deluxe suites are awesome, very well kitted out and all have a lovely feel to them. The facilities in general are so much fun. There’s a kind of communal room with a piano and a pool table, and also the hot tub/spa area out back which you can either book out for just yourselves, or jump in at another time with anyone else who might be staying at Ashby’s. All in all, only positive things to say for the place and will definitely be going again. As a side note, the couple who own it are so relaxed, Making you feel very welcome and free whilst there. Highly recommend!!
