Crescent Cottage

Crescent Cottage is a three-storey townhouse in the centre of Newtown, arranged across three floors with a character that comes from its traditional layout. The ground floor holds a living and dining space with a woodburning stove, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and the rest. A door leads out to a small rear garden with seating. The first floor has a double bedroom and a bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs again, there are two more bedrooms: another double and a single, allowing the cottage to sleep four guests in total. One well-behaved dog can stay free.

On-road parking is available outside. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all covered. The cottage sits on a street lined with independent shops and cafes within easy reach, and riverside walks are nearby. Newtown itself is a reasonable base for exploring mid-Wales: Welshpool and Powis Castle lie within half an hour's drive, and the Elan Valley with its walking trails is similarly accessible. The Newtown Textile Museum is also close by. Smoking is not permitted inside.
