Lake Vyrnwy lies six miles away, and Glyndwr's Way National Trail runs nearby with moorland and forest walks across rolling terrain. Shrewsbury's medieval streets and Powis Castle gardens are within reach for a day out, while the Mid-Wales coast offers a longer drive for a change of scene. The pod itself is a one-bedroom cabin for two, with an open-plan living space, sleeping area, and shower room all on ground level. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided.
Outside, a wood-fired hot tub sits in a private garden, with a terrace, sitting area and firepit for evening use. An external kitchen has an electric hob, microwave and grill, so you can cook outdoors or prepare simple meals. On-site parking is available for one car. The cabin is detached and set in quiet countryside with views across fields towards distant hills. No smoking inside.
This suits couples seeking a countryside retreat away from towns and crowds, with good access to walking routes and local exploring. The setting is genuinely dark at night, making it suitable for stargazing. Children are not accommodated.

The perfect get-away.. exactly what we wanted, we were so happy to enjoy a couple of nights at Kates Glampio. A beautiful setting in a lovely part of the world. It really is a blissful glamping site, so peaceful with a sky full of stars at night. Will 100% be back. Thankyou Kate, was really nice to meet you.

Stayed here for a long weekend. I wish I could give more stars. Amazing views, really quite, amazing hosts will come within 10 mins to help with anything. Very well kitted out place I would say. You have your own private toilet and shower with washing area which you can lock and noone else has access. The hot tub is amaingggg. No place for plug sockets but had 4 usb sockets which is really handy. Has a heater as well so even for winter would be a amazing place to visit.
