Seren

An early 1900s railway wagon converted into a one-bedroom retreat for two, Seren stands on a working farm in Mid Wales with views across rolling countryside. The entire ground-floor space combines living, dining and kitchen areas, a double bedroom, and an ensuite with walk-in shower. Hand-finished larch and oak interiors were crafted during a two-year restoration using locally sourced materials. The kitchen has an induction hob, air fryer and fridge-freezer for straightforward cooking; electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included, along with logs for the fire pit.

What sets Seren apart is its outdoor setting. French doors open onto an enclosed garden with a functioning fire pit, and beyond that a sitting area overlooking the surrounding fields. There is also an outdoor bath—the kind you fill and soak in while looking at the sky. Private parking accommodates two cars. The property is non-smoking.
