The Secret Garden - Daffodil

Dyfnant Forest and the Montgomeryshire countryside are within easy reach of this single lodge in the Secret Garden complex near Welshpool. The location sits between Foel and Llanerfyl, making it a practical base for exploring mid-Wales on foot or by car. A giant wooden gate marks the entrance to the site, which opens onto a carefully planted private garden where each lodge has its own outdoor sitting area and firepit.

The Daffodil is a ground-floor one-bedroom property sleeping two, built with sustainability in mind. The layout combines living space, dining area and kitchen in one open plan, with a contemporary bedroom and ensuite wet room with walk-in shower. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking rather than holiday shortcuts—electric oven, hob, microwave and full-size fridge. Biomass heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. There is parking for two cars on site, and one well-behaved pet stays free. No smoking indoors.

The five lodges share access to communal gardens if you want company, though each has its own private entrance and quiet outdoor space. A hotel run by the same owners operates nearby should you want to eat out without leaving the grounds.
