Wern Ddu Cottage

Wern Ddu Cottage is a two-bedroom property sleeping four in the Hirnant Valley. Each bedroom has a zip-and-link super kingsize bed (convertible to singles) and its own ensuite; one has a roll-top bath, the other a shower cubicle. The ground floor contains an open-plan living and dining space with a woodburner, full kitchen with induction hob and dishwasher, and utility room. Underfloor heating runs throughout, and electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included in the price.

What sets this cottage apart is the three-acre field on the property for dogs to walk and play in, with no charge for pets staying here. There is also a private hot tub for four, a garden with decked terrace and barbecue, and parking for two cars. The property draws water from its own well. No smoking is permitted.

The surrounding area has walking and cycling routes; nearby villages contain shops, pubs and restaurants. Lake Vyrnwy, a few miles away, offers water sports and scenic walks.
