A contemporary detached lodge built with solar panels, Y Gadlas sits on working farmland between the Berwyn Mountains and Hirnant Forest. The whole property is yours alone, with two bedrooms (one kingsize, one zip-and-link super kingsize), both with their own bathrooms. A wood burner warms the living room on cooler evenings, and the kitchen is equipped for real cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and a dining area with plenty of light. Everything is on one level except for three steps up to the living room itself.
Outside, an enclosed garden has a hot tub for four and seating areas with views across the surrounding fields. You can also use the private field beyond for recreation, though dogs must stay supervised as livestock may be present. One dog is welcome free of charge and will need to be kept on a lead. Electricity, WiFi, bed linen and towels are included, along with logs for the wood burner. There is private parking for two cars and an electric vehicle charging point (payable via app). Penybontfawr village is 1½ miles away with a pub, restaurant and shop; supermarket deliveries are available. Both Lake Vyrnwy and Lake Bala are within reasonable reach.
