The Robinsons have owned Claylands for more than 50 years, transforming what was once a simple 14-acre farm into a landscaped holiday park on the banks of the River Wyre. Today it's home to over 5,000 indigenous trees and a haven for wildlife – expect to spot squirrels, foxes, deer and around 85 different bird species. What visitors say
Stayed couple nights in our motorhome with our dog. Lovely warm welcome, fully serviced pitch, extra for electric, great facilities very clean. River runs through site surrounded by fields with bull, calfs, who were playing like puppies, sheep. Stepping stones is on site restaurant, coffee shop, bar. Breakfast, brunch, evening meal. We had evening meal both nights can't fault it, especially good customer service. Site has fishing ponds too. M6 motorway and west coast train line not far away, you can hear it in the background but didn't worry us personally.

Our 2nd time here ,we came back to check out the entertainment and food,glad we did as both where good ,the staff are so nice and welcoming, did abit of fishing and caught a 8lb ish carp and even a rainbow trout on the bottom pond (there is 4 ponds) Will definitely come back again.

Very well kept Caravan Park spacious pitches for tourers or Motorhomes Very clean toilets showers and washing up facilities should you need them easy to book in too On site is Stepping stones cafe and restaurant serving Brunch lunch and Evening meals with an option to sit at the back overlooking the river

Fantastic place/stay if you want to take in the peace and tranquility scene with 4 ponds I personally caught on the little pond
