Went on a Glazey Days trip on a canal boat, was smashing. The boat was so pretty inside and comfortable. The boat people were very friendly and welcoming.

Had a great time onboard the Jungle Queen for my Mum's 85th birthday. 3 hours of sunshine and fun with hosts Dan and Laura.and the fish and chips brought on board by the lovely Sue from Turners Fish and chip shop near Garstang (separate review) were hot and tasty. Because they rent these out to anyone and allow massive groups aboard, yesterday 11 November, a large group came down the canal whilst I was kayaking smoking and drinking blasting music, not only disturbing the peacefulness of the canals but the local wildlife too. As I paddled past, one guy, old bald, grey beard, hanging over the boat smoking a cigarette just throws the finished cig into the canal. No wonder the canals are so full of rubbish.
