What visitors say
What a fantastic experience. The whole tour is educational. The information in the running shed was exceptional and professional and worth the visit. The train ride took me back to my childhood especially the buffet car . Thank you so much. What a fantastic experience and day. 10/10 to everyone involved.

Everything was great except for the ploughman's lunch items missing from the stated menu, and cold tea and coffee provided in the Royal saloon carriage. Might be as well taking your own food in the normal carriage. Other than that worth the visit for train enthusiasts of any age.

Took my daughter and grandson on the Teddy Bear Picnic train over the bank holiday. First time here and we all loved it. Will definitely go back

Really enjoyable afternoon, excellent museum with a good array of Locomotives and wagons. A nice cafe and friendly, helpful volunteers. We were on the fish and chips excursion ( bought as a birthday gift ) hauled by a steam Locomotive. Would certainly visit again.
