What guests say
Our 3 night stay was fine. Room pretty standard as you would expect. Got the better WiFi which worked great. HOWEVER. When we checked in we were checked in my a man at the desk rather than the kiosk screen... Which looked turned off. He didn't ask us if we needed to validate our parking. There was no signage in reception or in the carpark it's self to say parking needs to be validated. And premier inns own website doesn't mention it ether. The only sign that mentions it is at the entrance to the carpark and it faces away from the direction your probably facing! Have a look on Google street view picture attached. So. I got stung for 3 sets of parking fines. I passed that sign 6 times in total during my stay and didn't see it once! Appeals fail to the parking company even when providing proof you were staying at the hotel because naturaly they do with these crappy private parking companies that are just out to rob you. They did reduce the fine to a "generous" £15 a day but the parking fine, before it was more than the price of my stay! BEWARE

Hotel was cheap which was good. However, I’ve come away from my stay with a £90 fine from the car park. On checking in, I was asked by the receptionist to write down my number plate so he could register the car… Now I am £90 out of pocket because it either was not done or done incorrectly. My appeal was rejected and hotel said there is nothing they can do. So thank you very much

So I have had 2 weeks in a premier Plus room which was lovely bar a couple of small issues. 1st one they had no Water which was part of my room package so had to wait 4 days which was a disappointment. 2nd one was when i tried to plug into the TV via the socket on the wall it didn't work properly. Otherwise no real issues and would stay again but wont as the adjoining venue Table Table who does the food etc shuts at 9.45 which is ridiculous.

The lady on reception was lovely but that’s an about it. The rooms are dated terrible, the ultimate WiFi doesn’t stay connected ( even though I was right by reception ) the bathroom looked really dirty and old- but the worst bit was by far the food. Booked a meal deal because of business and location however the chicken wings were soggy lukewarm and smelt funny, the main it was the same slimy horrible gristly story and I spent the entire evening feeling unwell and skipped breakfast due to the fact. Next time I’d recommend anyone look else where as it wasn’t worth anywhere near the hassle or feeling sick all night.
