What visitors say

Sadly, my family’s experience at Foxhunter Park has been extremely disappointing, and we feel it is important to share our honest experience. The biggest issue has been the management. Ricky comes across as friendly and approachable while selling caravans, but once you’ve purchased and are on the park, the attitude changes completely. We have found him to be rude, arrogant, and dismissive, with little respect shown to caravan owners when concerns are raised. After making such a significant investment, residents deserve to be treated with professionalism and courtesy. Staff morale also appears to be very poor. Employees often seem anxious and worried about whether they will lose their jobs, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Many of the experienced, long-standing staff who knew the park well have been replaced with much younger, inexperienced employees who appear to have received very little training. The decline in customer service is noticeable. The catering has also been disappointing. On a recent hot day, with more than 40 children using the swimming pool, the kitchen had completely run out of chips. Running out of such a basic menu item during a busy period demonstrates poor planning and management. The toilets at Le Club are also not maintained to an acceptable standard. Cleanliness should be a priority, particularly during busy periods when the facilities are used by many families. We also feel that parts of the park’s website give a misleading impression of what owners and visitors can expect. The reality does not reflect the image that is advertised, which is disappointing when making the decision to buy a caravan or visit the park. Foxhunter Park has the potential to be a fantastic holiday park, but the current management, declining standards, poor customer service, and lack of attention to basic facilities are letting it down. We hope the owners take this feedback seriously and make meaningful improvements for both residents and visitors.

I bought a holiday home at Foxhunter Park and couldn’t be happier. It’s such a friendly, welcoming place where people genuinely look out for each other. All the staff — from gardeners to office — are lovely, helpful, and always approachable. There’s always something going on, and Ruby the entertainer is brilliant — full of energy and great with both kids and adults. It’s very dog-friendly too. My dog loves the field and has made friends, and through him, so have I! A great mix of fun and peaceful living — it really feels like a community.

Stayed in a really nice caravan on Central Park section. Great base for exploring. Nice walks, especially at Reculver country park. Our kitchen was a little sparse with equipment, eg 3 mugs for a caravan that sleeps 4. Bathroom radiator didn't work either. Very strange set up with parking. On arrival we parked in the space outside our front door and unpacked with ease as car next to our steps. A few hours later our neighbour asked us to move our car as it was her space. We did as asked although seems very odd. We have stayed in many caravans in recent years but never been in the situation where our car is behind our caravan and we are sitting looking at the neighbour's car. Although a nice enough park, not sure I go with the 5 star rating.

New owners customer service skills are awful. My elderly mother is a resident here and myself and my family have been loyal customers for over a decade, yet I was not allowed to stay in the clubhouse with my family even though my mum verified who I was! She has cancer and been in Hospital a lot ans it’s been a worrying time so hadn’t picked up the updated passes. My partner and baby were already in the pool area waiting for the rest of the family so we all left.
