Stayed for 4 nights in May 2026 in a 7m motorhome. A wonderful location, superb views when the sun is out and good walking into Ravenglass. We paid £26 per night with EHU, just 2 of us and a dog. 2 x showers and loos, rustic but perfectly adequate and not the blue portaloo type which so often get passed as loos on site. Very friendly and helpful owner. This is a working farm so expect cockerdoodle doos and cattle. Plenty to do in the area with eating places just in Ravenglass itself, along with the Ratty steam railway and local mini bus to Wasdale. We had a fabulous time and it was so peaceful. Would definitely recommend and return.

We camped for the night here, lovely farm, clean and tidy with all the facilities. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.

To be quite honest, the location is undoubtedly stunning — and is situated fairly close and in walking distance to nearby towns. The farm animals can be a problem however. Typically, the cows can be fairly loud and the goats tend to wander around. The goats can be a bother as they often tend to follow you around. Hot water must be paid for. Other than that, I guess it was quite alright.

Lovely remote location with friendly owner. There is a toilet and shower however hot water must be paid for. Stars very visible at night and within walking distance of shop and small town. Cows and pylon were fairly loud at times but nothing outrageous.
