What visitors say
Very nice site near to Seascale. A warm welcome and a good pitch. Although the new facilities block wasn't open, the "old" block is anything but; modern facilities, underfloor heating, piped music. 👍 We had a great couple of night's sleep, and enjoyed meeting the neighbours (cows, sheep, alpacas and Murphy the donkey, who was very friendly!).

This campsite and holiday let's is an awesome place to stay. Quiet and friendly. Rachael the owner is very helpful in anything you need. We forgot our electric hook up and she provided one for us without any hassle. We weather the storm Dave in our tent and although we thought we would have to evacuate. Rachael help us out by allowing us to put wind breakers up and came and checked on everyone. Some left through the event. However once again Rachael and her team where there to help take tents down and effectively help in anyway possibly. Could not ask for better assistance and a community vibe with everyone helping each other. A * Campsite and will be back in May. Xxxx

We stayed here for a small camping holiday to replace the convention we usually head to on May bank holiday. Needless to say it was fantastic. Staff were lovely and friendly first thing when we checked in, ground was lovely and soft for the tent to be set up, the reception offered the common stuff you forget on a camping holiday for sale which was perfect and there were fridges anyone could access and use which is great for campers that dont have much in the way of coolers! Location was great, 20 minutes drive from Muncaster Castle (Highly recommend a visit) and 5 minutes drive from a gorgeous beach town, Seascale. They also offered a tour of the farm that was really educational and insightful. I'm used to a lot of the tours being dumbed down just for the kids but this one was great for both adults and kids. Also if you approach the gate, Murphy the Donkey will immidiately be there asking you to scratch his neck. It's adorable :) Highly recommend this place, fab service, fab facilities, fab locations nearby. Be prepared to have a disco when you go to the loos or the showers tho, I think I have Lana Del Ray's "Summertime Sadness" stuck in my head after the holiday cause it always seemed to be playing whenever I went haha.
