Cherrytree Cottage

Cherrytree Cottage is a detached bungalow on a working farm above Loftus, positioned to give you both space and proximity to serious walking country. The ground floor spreads across several rooms: a main living area with woodburner and a separate sitting room, both with television; a kitchen equipped for proper cooking; three bedrooms sleeping six; and a bathroom with both bath and shower. One bedroom has a four-poster double, another holds two singles, the third a single plus a pull-out single. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included, along with initial fuel for the stove.

The cottage sits a mile above the cliff edge and just yards from the Cleveland Way, which traces the North Yorkshire coast. Staithes, a working fishing village with narrow streets and a working harbour, is five minutes by car; Whitby lies further along the coast with considerably more facilities. The North York Moors National Park surrounds you, accessible for walking or driving to villages and moorland. A shop, pub and restaurant operate within a mile of the property. One pet is welcome at no extra charge, and there is parking on site. The property does have steep or narrow stairs. No smoking inside.
