Marsay Cottage is a restored 100-year-old former miner's cottage between Staithes and Skinningrove, within a mile of the coast. It sleeps four across two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with the whole place to yourselves. One dog stays free.
The ground floor has a living room with wood-burning stove, a kitchen diner equipped for proper cooking, a shower room and utility space with washing machine. Upstairs, the main bedroom is a kingsize; the second holds a single bed plus a pull-out single. The family bathroom has both bath and shower. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. There's a back garden with seating and on-road parking outside.
The cottage sits close enough to the Cleveland Way for straightforward access to serious walking, and near enough to the fishing village and beach for coastal days. It works equally well for families, couples, or anyone wanting a dog-friendly base without the holiday park atmosphere. No smoking inside.
