The Miner’s Cottage

The Miner's Cottage comes ready for arrival. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine, so you can prepare proper meals rather than relying on takeaways. Downstairs there's a living and dining room with a 32" Smart TV and electric fire; upstairs, two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—and a shower room with a cubicle shower.

A two-step entrance leads into the property. The enclosed courtyard offers a quiet spot to sit with garden chairs provided. Parking is on the road outside. The cottage does not permit smoking. A travel cot and highchair are available if you ask when booking.

Located in Saltburn-by-the-Sea on the Yorkshire Heritage Coast, the cottage sits less than a mile from the beach. The Victorian seafront has a pier and funicular lift to reach the promenade. Saltburn Miniature Railway runs through Valley Gardens nearby. The Cleveland Way footpath passes through the area for coastal walking, and the North York Moors lie inland. Loftus market town and the cobbled streets of Staithes are both a short drive away.
