Skinningrove is a quiet village on the North Yorkshire coast, largely quieter than the busier resorts nearby. Cremona Cottage sits beside the sea with beach views, renovated in 2022. The property sleeps four across two bedrooms—a double and a bunk room—with two bathrooms, plus Wi-Fi, parking and heating included. The essentials are covered, and one dog is welcome; note that smoking is not permitted.

Downstairs you have a living room with a woodburner, and a kitchen/dining space equipped for proper cooking: electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. There's a shower room on this level too. Upstairs are the bedrooms and a bathroom with both bath and shower. A small enclosed garden area opens to the back. The village itself has a café, shop and post office, but the real draw is what lies beyond. Cattersty Sands, a broad sandy beach, is a short walk away. The coast path runs past the cottage in both directions, offering cliff-top walks; dogs find this stretch friendly all year. Saltburn, Staithes and Runswick Bay are reachable on foot or by car, each with their own character—from the pier and bars at Saltburn to the fishing harbour at Staithes. Whitby is thirty minutes' drive, with its abbey, streets and independent shops. The Repus Boat Sculpture is a local landmark worth finding.
