About Tudor Lodge - Redcar Beach

A short stroll from Turner Street brings you to a good choice of pubs, restaurants and eateries, so while Tudor Lodge - Redcar Beach doesn't run its own restaurant, guests are never far from somewhere to eat or drink. Rooms come with drinks provided, a welcome touch after a day on the coast, and free WiFi throughout means you can look up the nearest spot before heading out.

The 15 rooms are kept clean and warm, with comfortable beds and en-suite bathrooms as standard, plus family rooms for those travelling with children. Amenities on site are kept simple, so this suits guests after straightforward, well-kept accommodation rather than a resort experience. Staff are consistently attentive and helpful, and the free on-site parking is a genuine convenience in a seaside town.

Redcar's beach is within easy reach, and there's fishing and a golf course nearby for those wanting to fill the day, along with entertainment options close by for the evening. It's a no-frills base that does the basics well, at a price that reflects good value.

Have stayed here a week between moving home. Janet was extremely welcoming on arrival and has been amazing throughout my stay. She clearly takes pride in her work and works hard to keep everyone happy. My room was extremely clean on arrival, the location is fantastic, bed is very comfortable. For the price it's very good. Id definitely recommend anyone staying here wanting to visit amazing Redcar I'm actually gutted I

QUIET, FRIENDLY + FREE NETFLIX. Whoever wrote a review saying it smelt like cannabis needs there nose checked because it doesn’t also the hot water definitely works as when I got in the heat was at 9 and nearly died and had to turn it down to 5. Friendly women at front desk, instantly shown us our room. The other woman is kind and sweet, supposed to leave by 10am she let us stay till 11am so great service. We needed a bottle opener and let us keep it till morning. COMMUNAL BATHROOM + TOILETS. I rarely like hotels with communal bathrooms and toilets but the toilet is clean and so is the bath and shower plus the extra toilet. Only downside of this stay was the view out the window, which I don’t spend time looking out windows anyway so I don’t mind, plus no tea/coffee, so bring your own which I can’t complain as there’s sachets for £2 down the road. I’d recommend if you want a cheap place to stay (£66 for 2 nights).

Didn't stay here. We arrived at check-in time. The entrance wasn't obvious, front door is kept locked. An abusive lady told us to hurry up as she had to go out. Rooms were not ensuite and we quickly decided we couldn't stay there.

AVOID! There was nobody when I arrived, the door was locked with a code that wasn't shared with me. It was late evening, I was tired, after 3h of driving. Had to deal with Agoda's customer service to get a refund and look for another hotel. Awful experience.
