About Armada Guesthouse

Redcar Beach, cycling and walking routes, golf, fishing and horse riding are all within easy reach of Armada Guesthouse, along with nearby pubs, restaurants and entertainment, making Henry Street a handy base for exploring this stretch of North Yorkshire coast.

The guesthouse itself keeps things straightforward and comfortable, with en-suite rooms that are kept clean and tastefully furnished, family rooms available, and drinks provided in-room. A cooked breakfast is included each morning, and packed lunches can be arranged for days out. Wifi is free throughout, reception is staffed around the clock, and pets are welcome to join the stay.

Free on-site parking makes it easy to come and go, whether heading to the beach, out on a bike, or off to a round of golf nearby. Staff are noted for being attentive and happy to help with local recommendations, adding a personal touch to what is otherwise a simple, well-run bed and breakfast.

We’ve just returned from a one-night stay here, and I can honestly say it was absolutely lovely. We were greeted promptly on arrival and were immediately impressed by the décor and overall cleanliness of the guesthouse. After being shown to Room 3, we were struck by just how immaculate everything was—easily one of the cleanest and most tastefully decorated places we’ve ever stayed in. The room itself was spacious, modern, and had a fresh, contemporary feel. Nice touches like complimentary robes and slippers, along with plenty of crisp white towels, really added to the experience. Everything felt so clean, cosy, and comfortable—it made for a truly relaxing stay. The breakfast was equally impressive—delicious, beautifully presented, and very well organised, which made for a perfect start to the day. Overall, a fantastic stay. We will definitely be returning—thank you for having us. A true credit to the owners.

My daughter & I needed a STAYCATION due to house renovations! Sharon & Lloyd went above and beyond looking after us both and making our room a little home from home. And breakfast was delicious! I wouldn’t normally have breakfast but I couldn’t resist! Set me and Liv up nicely for the day! Thank you so so much guys x

My daughter & I had a little staycation due to our house being renovated. Sharon and Lloyd looked after us as though we were family and nothing was a trouble for them. Breakfast was an added bonus and set Liv and I up for the day! Truly a little gem of a place :-)
