What guests say
No criticism towards the staff or food. In fact the staff were amazing and my grandaughters loved the food, so for me it was a win win! As we arrived an Evri driver was delivering a fan, no judgement until we walked in and realised it was cooler outside than inside. The staff must have been melting. Pub owned by a massive chain yet no air conditioning! The toilet was the coolest place in there. Give your staff a better working environment and your customers a pleasant eating space.

We had an amazing stay at the Meadow Farm Hotel in Redditch! The hotel was brilliant and all the staff were extremely helpful throughout our visit. A massive thank you and special shout-out to Jane, who went above and beyond for us—not only did she quickly resolve a small issue we had, but she actually chased us out to the car after we checked out because we’d forgotten a couple of things in the room! Outstanding service and top-notch hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

I had a nice stay at this hotel about a week ago when my partner was in hospital for surgery. The room was dated but clean and well looked after. This time around, I booked the accessible room so my partner could spend some time with me, as she needs an accessible bathroom during her recovery. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my stay with time around. The room had clearly not been vacuumed and the hair dryer gave a weird smell when used. As for the bathroom, had I visited with someone who had greater accessibility needs, it would've been entirely unsuitable. The emergency pull cord had been cut and tied up, meaning it wasn't adhering to regulations that they must hang freely and unobstructed to floor level. The shower had a problem with the hose connection to the shower head and was leaking. Additionally, the mount for the shower head was snapped off, meaning we had to hold the showerhead whilst showering. The standard for the accessible room was not to the same standard as the room I had only a week prior. This is not acceptable. I have no complaints with the staff, although it was often frustrating that there was often no one watching the front desk so my complaint could not be made in person. Overall the bar and everything else (food etc.) was perfectly fine, but I feel there needs to be some attention given to the accessible rooms.

The receptionist was friendly and efficient, moving us from an accessible twin room to a double room with a bath. There were no towels in the replacement room, but this was quickly addressed. The room was spacious and light with windows at either side. There was a heater and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom door did not close properly but I'm sure this is an easy fix - it didn't bother us. Really comfortable bed. Watch out for ceiling beams if you're over 6' tall. The room (207) was in the Farmhouse annexe and was very quiet. We ate breakfast in the adjacent bar/restaurant - good choice and value for money. Would definitely stay here again. Sainsbury's supermarket close by and we visited the nearby abbey ruins for a pleasant walk.
