Saw The Odyssey in IMAX here this weekend. Staff was super friendly, the film looked and sounded great, even the normal priced seats were in a decent enough spot. I've taken one star off because the seats weren't the comfiest for a tall person, and the popcorn was 90% tiny pieces and not clusters like normal.

We travelled from Edinburgh to see Backrooms in Odeon Braehead, on the 30th of May. When we entered the cinema the screening was full of big groups of younger children. For 40 minutes people shouted, talked and made racists comments. When the film started they continued making the film unwatchable. Many adults began leaving only 10 minutes in. We decided to leave early on as the children continued screaming and shouting. When we went out we notified the person checking ticket. He was already aware and said “Are you coming from screen 9?”. Another couple left at same time and also repeated our complaint to the clerk. We were told to go to the tills to request a refund. We were only offered a refund for the tickets. We were not refunded for our barely touched popcorn and drinks which we left at the till. I felt like the manager handled this very poorly. At least 10+ people had already left and no member of staff came in to deal with the situation. We left £25 out of pocket for food we were unable to enjoy and a very disappointing experience. A refund for the tickets does not cover the inconvenience of a whole evenings plans ruined.

IMAX screen was great, sound and picture quality was fantastic, but the seats are narrow, had poor leg room and not very comfy at all, sat in much better seats at other cinema franchises

Visitors say this cinema offers interesting movies with great sound and picture quality, especially on the IMAX screen, and appreciate the sweet popcorn and ice cream. They also highlight the friendly and helpful staff, clean screen rooms, and good parking.
Some reviews mention the seating can be neglected.
