About Ye Olde Bell Hotel and Restaurant
Sixty-one rooms make Ye Olde Bell Hotel and Restaurant one of the larger places to stay near Retford, and the facility list runs well beyond what a hotel of this scale usually offers. Set in Barnby Moor in Nottinghamshire, it pairs traditional hospitality with an indoor swimming pool, gym and spa/sauna, plus a garden for guests who prefer to stay outdoors.
Rooms come with air conditioning, free WiFi and drinks, and the hotel runs a restaurant and bar on site alongside daily breakfast. Practical extras include a lift, luggage storage, laundry service, porter and concierge support, and free on-site parking. Business travellers are catered for with meeting rooms and business services, while the property also operates as a wedding venue.
Hardwick Hall gives the area a notable point of interest for those wanting to explore beyond the hotel, and Retford itself lies a short distance away for further pubs, restaurants and entertainment. With its own restaurant, bar and leisure facilities on site, though, there's little need to leave the grounds at all.
