St. Alban’s Church

Rhondda Cynon Taf

View on Google Maps

Walking through the entrance of St. Alban's Church, you step into a converted chapel where the original arched stained-glass window dominates the living room. Built in 1899 and now a family holiday home, the property retains its character while offering modern comfort across five bedrooms spread over two floors. Four bathrooms serve the space, one with a Jacuzzi bath. A games room with pool table sits on the ground floor alongside the main living areas.

The ground floor holds the living room, an open-plan kitchen and dining room, and the first bedroom with wet room. The kitchen has two ovens, an induction hob, two fridge-freezers, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer; doors lead out to an enclosed lawned garden with terrace. Upstairs are four more bedrooms—three doubles with their own bathrooms, one double, and one with twin singles—plus a family bathroom. Essentials including Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are provided. One pet stays free. There is no smoking in the property.

Treorchy sits in the Rhondda Valley with pubs within a mile. Mountain biking, waterfalls, the Brecon Beacons and walking are nearby; Zip World is ten minutes away. The Gower Peninsula and Margam Country Park are within reach for a day out.
