What visitors say
We spent four nights here at the start of July 2026 and it's a fantastic site. We were met by a very friendly warden who pointed out all the facilities and explained what we needed to know, very nice touch. The pitches are large and nicely shaded from the sun (and it was hot and sunny), the facilities are spotlessly clean and well provisioned. Monty's bar - the onsite bar is great, only open 'til 8pm and there was no post-bar noise, the staff were always friendly and the prices are fine too. The on-site shop has the essentials - soft-drinks, beer, cider and you can order bread for breakfast! We ordered a charcuterie platter through the site which we picked up from the shop and it was very nice too. There was a food van on site every night we were there, chippie van, thai food van and pizza providing a range of different food and always freshly cooked - and the breakfast van was there at the weekend...the sausage baps are great! Location-wise, it's a short-bus ride into Ringwood or Bournemouth or a shorter-drive. This is a fantastic site, and we'll definitely be back.

We stayed here for the first time in July this year, for 12 nights in our touring caravan, it was absolutely amazing. The site has a really safe, secure and friendly feel to it. The toilet blocks are really clean with some having toilet, shower and basin in each booth. They have delicious food vans everyday, of which we tried all except the breakfast van which we were saving for our leaving day, but unfortunately they were having technical issues so didn't manage to sample their food. That gives us a reason to return. They also have an onsite shop with essentials. Can't wait to return.

Arrived to an issue with our pitch. They had give it to the wrong guest and we had to wait for them to move before setting up the caravan. Annoying but not the end of the world. The pitch was a good size and the site is very well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful and the I couldn’t fault the facilities. Washrooms, showers and toilets were all new and very good. I nice relaxed atmosphere across the site and the dog walk was also very good. The bar area is well set up and stocked. Friendly staff and again a great atmosphere. Food wagons are there daily with some great food being served from them. Also there was a breakfast wagon serving the usual. We played a round of golf on the worst pitch and putt i have ever seen but we all had fun and that’s all that matters. A professional would struggle to hit a ball in a straight line on the so called greens 😆 Over all we would give this a 5/5 and if we ever venture this far south again would definitely be back. Could do with some additional signage going to the park as it really is in the back of beyond and you pass another site to get there. Just a additional sign to say keep going would have been appreciated. That is my only negative comment. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Awesome place. Awesome staff. Worth the 6 hour trip down!! Really impressed by the standard of the campsite and how attentive the staff are. Stayed 3 nights from Monday 13th July and it is a really nice place. Different food each night if you stay on site and they are close to local amenities, as well as Bournemouth itself which was a lovely day out to the beach. We will back here again soon! Definitely recommend ☀️😎
