What visitors say
We spent four nights here at the start of July 2026 and it's a fantastic site. We were met by a very friendly warden who pointed out all the facilities and explained what we needed to know, very nice touch. The pitches are large and nicely shaded from the sun (and it was hot and sunny), the facilities are spotlessly clean and well provisioned. Monty's bar - the onsite bar is great, only open 'til 8pm and there was no post-bar noise, the staff were always friendly and the prices are fine too. The on-site shop has the essentials - soft-drinks, beer, cider and you can order bread for breakfast! We ordered a charcuterie platter through the site which we picked up from the shop and it was very nice too. There was a food van on site every night we were there, chippie van, thai food van and pizza providing a range of different food and always freshly cooked - and the breakfast van was there at the weekend...the sausage baps are great! Location-wise, it's a short-bus ride into Ringwood or Bournemouth or a shorter-drive. This is a fantastic site, and we'll definitely be back.

Myself my wife and and some friends spent may bank holiday at this amazing gem! This is our 3rd time here and each time we go the site has been enhanced this time the bar had been made bigger and the seating area improved, the entrance and road to the site had been made larger too. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. The bar is a great place to meet up and take your dog to, it has nice seating inside and out. Also next to the bar is where the food vans set up when we were there it was pizza the first night they were good quality and hand made.when we were there my friends sorted out a themed weekend away as only fools and horses between us, we also hired the amazing BBQ hut this was a little extra to our site fees. We had a fully serviced pitch that was quite large, the grounds around it are well kept and tended. The toilets and showers are first class, very clean! The dog walk and woodland is a great asset too. There is also a small shop selling local produce and you can order fresh bread and pastries for the following morning pick up. All in all a fantastic adults only site.

Fantastic camp site! Spotless showers/toilets, a different, high quality visiting food van each night, a lovely, friendly bar that opens for a few hours each evening. Very dog-friendly! Dogs everywhere! 😄 Considerate camp neighbors, lovely little wood adjacent to the site for dog-walking .. the only VERY minor grumble is that the EHU pitches could (IMO) have a tiny bit more space. There isn't a huge amount of privacy... But this campsite is REALLY LOVELY! Book now!! 😄

A good few years since I have been here and progress has certaunly been made. Better facilities and an on site bar with outside catering food vans that turn up every evening have certainly added to the enjoyment of being on site. Small shop but plenty of bits and pieces plus vitals for campers. You can hire a fire basket to, just adds to the evening ambience. Highly recommend this site. Great pitches and good sized.
