About Forest Edge Holiday Park
Ringwood sits on the edge of the New Forest, with Hurn Forest just a few minutes' walk away for woodland walks and wildlife spotting. Forest Edge Holiday Park is a family-focused site with static lodges and pods set among the trees. The site has a swimming pool, children's play areas, and a laundry, plus wireless internet throughout. Pets are welcome, and there is designated parking for each pitch as well as visitor spaces.
The lodges and holiday caravans are well-equipped, and some include hot tubs. Staff are noted for being helpful and responsive to guests' needs. The site's location gives easy access to local forests and attractions. Note that the site sits close to a road, so some road noise can be heard from certain pitches. A children's play area keeps families occupied on site, and the swimming pool extends the appeal beyond the woodland setting.

What visitors say
This is a small park connected to the oakdene park which is bigger. The caravan we had was good very clean and well equipped we had a mid week break here just to wind down for a bit. My only issue was with the road noise which was relentless day and night we were in 15A which was near the fence and road,we did consider whether to ask if they had any free in oakdene but decided not as we were out all day. Will not book for this park again but would book oakdene.

Good condition vans nicely spaced with individual parking area alongside off tarmac roads. Broad selection of crockery and cooking equipment. Site generally quiet although noise from main road traffic. Plenty of bins and a small playarea but no other facilities onsite. Easy access to local Forestry woods

Good site. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good facilities rather than fantastic. All vans look to be in good condition if a little close together which they tend to be on modern sites. More then happy to recommend it 👍

Lovely quiet park and not too far from sister site, Oakdene. We stayed at Lodge no.1 (Superior +3 bedroom) which was close to the main entrance and with a massive hot tub on the decking. Accomodation was spotless and comfortable throughout. Wasn't at all disturbed by traffic or noise coming from the motorway as seen from other comments, but perhaps it was to do with the location of our lodge being closer to the forest than to the A31 MW. There's a good sized kids playground on site here which we found was much bigger than that in the nearby sister site at Oakdene forest where most of the facilities are situated if you wanted to use them. Either a 2 mins drive to Oakdene forest park or about a 20 mins walk through the adjoining Hurn Forest from Forest Edge to get there. Signposting the forest walk ways for new visitors or holiday makers to get between both parks could have been helpful as the map given to us wasn't all that straightforward and slightly misleading. Forest Edge served as a good base to visit all other local attractions and places of outstanding natural beauty that the Dorset coast has to offer, e.g Durdle door, Paultons park and Bournemouth beach. All in all, a really pleasant holiday stay and will be back in future.
