This is such a hidden gem! Very cool building and right next to the castle! Amazing value for money. The man who runs it is so kind and the rooms come with free shampoos, tea and coffee and everything was clean. There was also a TV so we could watch the World Cup! Amazing. Would recommend!

Even though the decor is a bit tired, the lovely staff and excellent location were value for money. The hairdryer needs an upgrade, but the bathroom was clean, shower was new and the room was spacious.

Excellent location for exploring Rochester but the property is extremely ill-maintained, with shabby carpets, sad decor, minimal amenities, bags of rubbish in the common areas. The internet failed during our stay.

The hotel itself is very tired looking and needs a serious refurbishment. Rooms are aged in design, very dusty and need a good clean (see photos). However, the bed was clean and very comfortable and together with the blackout curtains, a very good night's sleep was had. The location is perfect for exploring Rochester, literally 2 mins from the Cathedral and castle.
