About Manor Farm Caravan and Camping Park
Manor Farm Caravan and Camping Park sits on working farmland just inland from Birchington-on-Sea, offering straightforward grass pitches for tents, tourers and motorhomes with electric hook-up available. The site keeps things simple – a clean shower block, flat open ground with plenty of space between pitches, and a genuinely peaceful setting among agricultural fields rather than manicured hedgerows. There's no on-site shop, so most visitors stock up in Birchington or Margate beforehand, but that low-key approach translates into competitive prices and an unhurried atmosphere that suits campers after a quiet base rather than entertainment.
Birchington's beach is within walking or cycling distance, while Margate – with its Old Town, Turner Contemporary and Dreamland – sits a few miles east along the coast. Dogs are welcome, and the flat terrain makes pitching awnings or trailer tents straightforward. It's a practical, no-frills option for anyone exploring the Isle of Thanet coastline without the polish or premium of more formal holiday parks.

What visitors say
Incredibly rude woman, called to ask if I could empty my chemical toilet, recieved the reply 'why do you think I could help?', because you are a campsite? In a very condescending tone, mentioned only for members for those who pay (which I was willing to do), without checking if I am a member (which I am). I don't mind if this isn't a service they offer, just don't appreciate the attitude. Need to learn how to speak to people.

Great place to stay, shops and pub (serving good food ) close by. Field not level so ramps needed if you can't get one of the level plots which are close to work sheds. If you like old buses you might get to see a few as they restore them on the site

Lovely place. Nice walk to the Medway. Easy to get to Rochester and Gravesend by train or bus. And, talking of buses, Thursday is a good day if you like vintage buses as they restore them there
