Lakeview Lodge works equally well for a couple after peace and quiet or a family wanting a base for exploring the Rother valley. The pod sits on a working arable farm with views across the 1066 countryside towards Coombe Valley Nature Reserve, where footpaths and cycle routes lead into woodland and open spaces. One small dog stays free, and you have the whole place to yourself throughout your stay.
Everything is on the ground floor. The open-plan living area contains a sofa bed that converts to a kingsize, plus a smart TV; a dining table sits in the kitchen zone, which has a gas cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Bedroom one has a kingsize bed; bedroom two has three single beds and a door for privacy. There is one shower room with a cubicle shower. A travel cot and highchair are available, and essentials like bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and wifi are included.
Outside, an outdoor seating area surrounds a firepit with a BBQ griddle. There is a bike store, and parking for two cars. The grounds have steps. Arrive after 15:00 and depart before 10:00. No smoking indoors.

I still cant get over how wonderful it was... The pod itself is lovely, and has more than everything that I needed. The location is great, in the countryside with a spectacular view. The owner (Beckie) was amazingly helpful - just look at my dog's face to see how good a time we had... Will definately be returning, thank you Beckie.

We had the most amazing time!! Beckie was so helpful from the very start and provided us with all the information we needed. The pod is so cosy and warm. We did not want to leave and will definitely be coming back!

We recently spent 2 nights at hillcroft glamping pods and I was blown away with how clean and well equipped they were, we stayed in the 4 person pod with our 2 kids and pet dog and we had plenty of room. There was everything you could need inside, tons of information about places to go and where to eat etc and Becky was so quick at replying to my messages. We would absolutely stay here again!

It was wonderful holiday in hillcroft farm pod. Very calm and quite place. We booked 2 days holiday and kids enjoyed very much, and ofcourse all of us. Very clean and neat place. Nice welcome pack and becky, the host was very loving and caring.
