Reeves Estate - Retreat is a single-bedroom cabin built on one level within the grounds at Hatch Park, surrounded by woodland on the edge of Battle. It's designed as a couples' retreat, with a double bed, shower room, and an open-plan living and kitchen space all contained under one roof. A private hot tub sits in the enclosed garden, reached via two steps down from the cabin itself.
The kitchen has an electric hob, microwave and fridge for self-catering. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, along with central heating. The cabin comes with its own parking space and a garden with seating and a gas barbecue. There's no smoking inside. A travel cot is available if needed.
Battle's High Street and the Abbey—scene of the 1066 battle—are within reach for a day out, and the Sussex countryside offers walking routes through the surrounding area. This suits couples wanting seclusion with mod cons rather than full camping experience.

Highly recommend a stay at Reeves Retreat. The cabin was beautifully clean and decorated, with added bits for Christmas! If you don't know the area, Hannah has provided a welcome booklet with local information. The cabin feels completely secluded and has a private gate into the woods behind. There is very limited phone signal and no WiFi which forces you to enjoy the company, woods, board games and hot tub even more. If staying in winter, just make sure any meals you want to make can be air fried/microwaved as there is no oven/hob. Hannah and her family went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable during our stay.
