Families and groups of four will find Saltmarsh Cottage a practical base for a seaside break. The two bedrooms—one double, one twin—sit upstairs, while the ground floor opens out as a single living space that combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas, useful for keeping everyone together when cooking or in poor weather. A utility room with a washer-dryer is tucked off the kitchen, and there's an outdoor terrace with garden furniture overlooking a small enclosed garden.
The cottage comes fully equipped for self-catering: the kitchen has an oven, hob and dishwasher, and there's a television in the main room. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with wi-fi and electricity. Two cars can park on site. Smoking is not permitted inside.
Camber Sands beach is a few minutes' walk away, with miles of sand and shallows suited to children. The medieval town of Rye and the bird reserves at Dungeness are within easy reach for days out. The cottage suits those wanting quiet time by the coast as much as active visitors keen on walking or exploring the surrounding marshland and nature reserves.
