About Broomhill Sands Holiday Park

Broomhill Sands Holiday Park occupies a prime strip of coast just along from Camber Sands, sharing the same expanse of golden beach and dunes but with a noticeably quieter, more relaxed atmosphere than its busier neighbour. The flat grass pitches sit within easy walking distance of the sea, and the park's outdoor pool, clubhouse bar and on-site shop mean you're well covered for the basics without needing to venture far.

Facilities are solid—hook-ups, modern shower blocks and hardstanding options suit most touring set-ups—though the open coastal position can feel exposed when the wind picks up, particularly outside the summer months. The level ground makes pitching straightforward, and the dunes backing the beach draw walkers and kitesurfers throughout the season.

Rye's medieval streets are a short drive inland, making this a practical base for combining coastal downtime with historic town exploring. If you're after a beachside camping holiday rather than countryside seclusion, this delivers direct access to one of the south-east's finest stretches of sand.

What visitors say

Had a 4 night stay at the camber sands holiday park and as a family we enjoyed our time. Our caravan was clean and had the essentials. The staff were amazing nothing was too much for them. We enjoyed the activities on site as well as being close to the beach. Had a nice meal at the boathouse on our last night which was a lovely way to end our stay. Would definitely come back again.

Sam in the boathouse was helpful and accommodating. Hayden, Harry, Lauren, Joe and Tyler were all extremely helpful and accommodating. Hayden was great with the children. Ryan the cleaner in the boathouse was also helpful. All the staff did their upmost to ensure everyone had a great time, however there was definitely a lack of staff for the activities / pool team as they couldn't have the slide/flume open every day, and they had to keep moving from one activity to the next to fit lots of sessions in- on one very busy Saturday they only had one person on the high ropes at one point which was a health and safety issue - they did eventually get a 2nd person. There was a lack of staff in the restaurant too as several times the food came out cold - however they did cook another meal fresh which we appreciated. Pool staff were particularly accommodating and helpful as the disabled toilet and changing room were out of use due to a legionnaires spike, they ensured me that i could use a family change cubicle. I just about fitted through the door in my electric wheelchair with a lot of maneuvering and the lifeguards we're more than happy to hoist me in and out of the pool which I really appreciated. I also gelt they kept a close eye on me which made me feel safe. The park is lovely for a family holiday but feel the entertainment complex would not be large enough when the park is at full capacity in school holidays. There is also a lack of toilets, especially disabled toilets- only one on site during the day due to the disabled change/toilet being closed at the pool currently. The toilets in the showbar are closed during the day- only open if you are booked on to an activity. Overall we had a great time and our holiday experience was a good one

We had 4 nights booked and we spent 3 hours there. From the moment we turned into the park we knew we wouldn't want to stay. Very tightly packed with caravans and zero parking. We had the bungalow booked but totally unsuitable for anyone who can't walk any distance. The whole place is a shambles. Seagull poo everywhere .... on the tables too so very uninviting. We tried to get an "upgrade" but apparently park was full ....... so we turned and came home. Best decision. Would not recommend at all

What we liked Lots of activities for the kids to keep them busy Beautiful beaches on the doorstep What we didn't like Everywhere is filthy , all the bars are sticky and smelly. The kids soft play had mountains of dust The caravan wasn't clean either. Dirty floors, stains on walls, horrible smell, bird poo everywhere. The cleaning needs improving. Havens for example is much more cleaner. Loved the area but not sure if will return.
