Sea Escape

Sea Escape is a single-storey lodge in a holiday park at Camber, within walking distance of the beach. The whole place is yours for the duration: two bedrooms (one with a kingsize bed, one with two singles), one bathroom with shower, and an open-plan living area that combines kitchen, dining and lounge. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and full-size fridge, so you can cook as much or as little as you want. Essentials like bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are covered. There's a front garden with seating, and parking for one car on site.

One well-behaved dog can come with you at no extra cost. The lodge doesn't allow smoking. Camber itself is known for its wide, flat sandy beach and dunes—good for families, paddleboarders and anyone who wants a long walk by the water. Rye, a medieval hilltop town with castle ruins and narrow streets, is a short drive inland. The Rye Harbour Nature Reserve has coastal paths and birdwatching; Dungeness, with its shingle beach and miniature railway, is also nearby. Check-in is after 4pm and checkout before 10am.
