About Ty Newydd
Tucked near Corwen, Ty Newydd offers a practical base for exploring the Dee Valley and surrounding Denbighshire countryside. The site welcomes rallies and permits campfires, with essentials including showers, a toilet block, and chemical disposal on hand. An on-site restaurant or café keeps things convenient, while gas cylinders are available should you need them.
Note that dogs aren't allowed here, which may suit those seeking a quieter atmosphere but won't work for everyone. The modest 2.5-star Google rating suggests the facilities can feel a touch tired in places, though nearby amenities – a bar, shop, indoor pool, restaurant, and watersports – add options for days out. It's a straightforward, no-frills choice if you're after a simple stopover rather than something polished.
