What visitors say
Wow, what an absolute gem! This was my first time visiting the IOW and we stayed here for 4 nights. I wish we could have stayed longer! The overall vibe of the campsite is really nice and the team are super friendly and lovely. The location is really good for getting around the island. The facilities are amazing, the toilets and showers were always immaculate. It really has the feel of a good old family holiday and the site itself is really nice even ground and their covered communal area is really cute and cozy! We are so excited to visit again!

Stayed one night, well out of the way so lots of peace and quiet, surrounded by farm fields and woodlands. We had booked a grass only, campervan pitch for the last night of our 10 day trip around the IoW (EHU available). Loved the communal vibe and ranch style seating area with a large fire pit. Big double fridge for communal use. On arrival we received a warm welcome and basically pitch wherever you like. Good clean toilets and showers. Excellent value, highly recommended and would definitely come back.

Ok, I stayed in my van, hence the no stars for the rooms. When I called Sarah, she said just to rock up and she'll come and take some money off me when she gets back or to pay her business partner, Alex. I turned up and Alex was really helpful and while it's a very simple affair they have at Retro Staycations, it works really well. This is why I like the place so much. It wasn't expensive, no airs and graces, just what you need to get done those things you cannot do within the confines of your van. Most people post pictures of fields and vans without concentrating on the stuff we want to see: Toilets, showers, pot wash etc. I paid £18 for this in the middle of June. Not bad at all for a weekend....enjoy the pics and feel free to check out the other reviews I've done over the years.

Have stayed at Retro staycations twice now and both times have been great. Sarah is an amazing host, always so welcoming and helpful. Lovely setting and great entertainment with the music events they run. Caravans are clean as are the shared facilities.
