I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and will definitely be returning. The location was perfect – after arriving in Ryde on the hovercraft, it was only a five-minute walk to the hotel, which made my journey so easy. I was warmly greeted by a lovely member of staff on arrival, who made me feel very welcome. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent too, with a large shower that was perfect after a day of travelling. As an added bonus, I even got to meet the hotel's friendly resident cat, which made my stay even more memorable! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and wouldn't hesitate to book here again the next time I visit Ryde. Highly recommended!

Friendly hotel. The staff are very welcoming. Our room was small but clean. We could have done with a few more hooks. Breakfast was good but would like to have fruit at breakfast.

I had a good stay at the Dorset Hotel. It was a convenient location for me with the bus stop right across the street and the town centre/pier not far away, yet it was a quiet location. Breakfast options were good. Internet connection was great which was good given how bad in some parts of the island my own reception was. The room felt, like most things on the island, a bit dated but still good for my short stay there. Unfortunately, the water pressure in the shower wasn't awesome, that's the one thing I would recommend to improve. Or maybe that was only me not being able to quite figure out the shower mechanism.

Good location and room rate included breakfast so good value. Rooms are clean and windows opened which was a life saver in the heatwave. There are a few niggly issues with the room including a shower with low water pressure and the place would do with a makeover....
