What visitors say
I've had a few lessons with Andrew now, and I've loved every minute! The school is welcoming and friendly and the care and love for the horses is very apparent, as well as the genuine interest in meeting the customers' needs. I feel Andrew really listens to me, and tries to ensure I get the best out of my time. Highly recommended!

The most amazing riding school with highly qualified instructors that teach you how to not only ride but care for horses and ponies in the best way like they do! Couldn’t recommend them enough

My 8 year old daughter decided she wanted to start pony lessons. Having a horse you always have expectations naturally when going anywhere equestrian ....... I have to say I am delighted with this place. The staff are great. The ponies are fabulous and the instructor Katie is fantastic (we only have had Katie) Brilliant place and would recommend to anyone starting out! Masisie absolutely loves it and would be here everyday! If she could!

Fantastic riding school, I decided to give horse riding ago after having 15 years out of the saddle and this place has given me back the riding bug. Very good knowledgeable instructors and lovely calm quiet horse’s. I mainly get taught by Andrew who is very encouraging and gives an enjoyable riding lesson whilst also helping you to improve and give you confidence riding. I have also been taught by Janice who is very knowledgeable and helped me to work on my position in the saddle, which I enjoy as it helps me to understand how to be a better rider and been more body aware in the saddle. I have just recently started in Katie’s fortnightly riding lesson’s which are engaging and fun, it given me a good opportunity to ride in a small group lesson and mix up my riding lesson experience. My daughter has also just started going riding at Howden Equestrian centre and is throughly enjoying her lessons and own a pony morning’s. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a good riding school where the horse’s are very well looked after.
