A warm welcome as we walked into the cafe, as it wasn't quite checking in time, 1pm, so bought a coffee and mentioned we were checking in, we were given our key and the bags were taken to our room while we drank our "very nice" coffee. The room was warm, very spacious with plenty of drawers and also a wardrobe, iron and board and hairdryer. The breakfast again was 1st class with plenty of choice and cooked perfectly. All the staff were friendly and very helpful, and the information booklet in the room was the most informative I've ever seen. We will definitely be staying there again next time we are in Scarborough.

This hotel is the best hotel ive ever stayed in. Pristine in every room, lots of tea, coffee, sugar in the room. Service is second to none. I couldn't possibly of asked for better. Fantastic price. Owner very attentive and explains everything needed. Staff are very welcoming. Very modern and extremely clean. If you want value for money, this is absolutely the place to stay!! I will definitely be returning for more than 1 day!

This was our second visit to Rowntree Lodge and once again we were not disappointed. We received a warm welcome and although we arrived slightly earlier than expected our room was ready. We booked the Superior room which was on the top floor. The room was immaculate and the super king-sized bed was so comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud. Tea and coffee was provided in the room, also complimentary shower gel and hand wash, along with the use of hair dryer, iron and free WiFi. A little mix-up over breakfast which was soon put right and the meal was delicious. Clare is a lovely hostess, very friendly and welcoming, and we look forward to returning to Rowntree Lodge on our next visit to Scarborough.

We had a great overnight stay for a concert. The room was so clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast choice was amazing and sooo delicious. Would recommend.
