Stayed here a couple of nights ago and was really impressed with the service and straightfordeness of the place. We arrived late having spent the day walking and our welcome was friendly and helpful. We had room 3 on the first floor and had two single beds and en suite facilities. The room had everything where we needed it, WiFi password, kettle, tea coffee with proper mugs. A nice touch in the rooms is the water bottles as we had had a long day they were greatly appreciated. Shower and bathroom was good, lots of hot water and nice and clean. The only negative is air freshener was empty, but easily overlooked. Breakfast was from 8 - 9 so we were first down and big tick as they had decade coffee and breakfast was really nice. Would definitely stay again if we are in Scarborough 👏

Lovely stay over..great breakfast.. car park can get full..and mostly double yellows on the road..permit given to help if space..thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Myself and my Wife decided to book a few days at the Sheridan after reading very favourable reviews. The reviews were accurate, in fact from the fabulous warm welcome from Jo our host, everything over achieved, the room was clean, tidy and welcoming, fresh fluffy towels the usual tea/ coffee but an added bonus of hot chocolate 😎 Lots of storage space and comfy beds. The breakfast was awesome, which was cereal , toast , full English juice, and fabulous coffee, in a wonderful dining room. I wish our stay could have been longer, it was fabulous and we’ll certainly be back😎

Just home from an 8-night stay. We had room 8 which was spacious with plenty of wardrobe space and also drawers, which these days are rare especially in chain hotels!! Bed was comfortable and added points for having a shower head which is height-adjustable. The landlady, Jo, was really friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for her. Breakfast was delicious, cooked to perfection, to order. The guesthouse is in a great location close to North Bay, perfect for events at the Open Air Theatre, but also only a 15 min walk to the town centre. Would definitely book again on a return visit to Scarborough and would highly recommend.
